Lydia is a graduate from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Lydia has both hospital and private practice experience where she has developed and refined her skills in rehabilitation of sporting injuries and postoperative orthopaedics. Lydia has provided injury assessment and therapy for various AFL and soccer teams in the local community over the past four years. She is passionate about helping people achieve their best health and has a keen interest in vestibular conditions and Clinical Pilates.
For over five weeks in 2015, Lydia worked in Shanghai, China at the Sunshine Rehabilitation Hospital, originally built for the Special Olympics. Here she was able to share her physiotherapy skills and knowledge with Rehabilitation Therapists in the Orthopaedic Sports and Trauma sections to significantly advance the hospital's services currently in place.
Aside from work, Lydia enjoys swimming at the beach, social tennis, beach volley ball and netball. Lydia strives to challenge her fitness by running in Perth's major fun runs including the Chevron City to Surf and HBF Run for a Reason. Her latest ambition is training for the Run for a Reason Half Marathon in May this year.
